Francis Ambler
BA(Hons) Editorial and Advertising Photography
Having grown up in a small village just outside Cambridge, I developed an interest in buildings and structures at a young age after seeing the architectural drawings my father was working on. On occasion he would take me on site visits with him, giving me a camera to keep me occupied. From then, photography very quickly became a passion.
I went on to study Editorial and Advertising Photography at University of Gloucestershire. After graduating, I wanted to combine my love of architecture and interiors with photography and have been fortunate to work with a range of clients including designers, developers, architects, estate agents and land owners. As my business grew, I then incorporated video and aerial footage into my portfolio.
After an initial enquiry, I take the time to understand the key features of the project, how and where the photographs or video will be used and form a competitive quote. I learn about the project ensuring that the shoot takes place at the best time of day and plan potential shots, guaranteeing high quality results.
If you’d like any further information on how I work and have a project you’d like to discuss, please get in touch.
